The results are in – recently 3 of our skilled woodworking members entered various Competition sections of the Gold Coast Show.
President Keith made a special run to carefully deliver the “works of art” to the show in a specially rented van.
All the pieces got there safely and we just had to wait for judgment day.
When the judging results were announced all the shed members were elated – as the 3 guys had all won prizes. In fact, the wooden masterpieces won the following awards-
- Bob won the President’s Award with his wood carving of the Sea
- Micheal won the Vice President award for his immaculately finished bowl.
- Les won First Price in the Woodwork Crafts Section.
